HAMR Coatings are seeking a casual Office Assistant, to join our team in Hoppers crossing. You will be part of a growing Australian-owned Automotive paint company.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Phone Calls and Customer Enquiries
• Promote our products and maintain our high level of customer service standards
• Listen attentively to customer questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful to encourage product sales.
• Pick, pack and fulfill all outgoing orders.
• Processing sales in POS system & quoting draft orders
• Liaise with team members to ensure accuracy of orders, packing slips, invoices, and courier labels.
• Receives/processes stock received from suppliers, involving; unpacking, counting, pricing, and placing on the floor, with overflow stock to go in the warehouse
• Entering supplier invoices and bills into the accounting system
• Ensures stock replenishment in all retail areas
• Manage and maintain the accuracy of stock inventory and stock counts
• Participating in store stocktakes
• Entering store and customer data into systems & spreadsheets
• Opening & Closing procedures of the shop and adhering to a high standard of security.
• Editing PowerPoint presentations and HAMR Training programs when applicable

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in the Automotive Industry with a sound understanding of cars preferably in Automotive paint and/or parts.
• Must have previous experience in Customer Service and maintain a high standard.
• Able to maintain and build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Methodical and well organized with a focus and dedication to achieve positive results to contribute to long term business success
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Good computer literacy with an ability to learn promptly the sales process and internal software used.
• A great team player with a positive “can-do” attitude.
• Must be able to follow procedures and directions correctly
• Must be physically fit and able to lift and move stock in a safe manner
• Ability to work unsupervised and also in a team environment

Prefered but not essential

• Knowledge in the automotive spray painting industry will be highly regarded.
• Previously worked in a wholesale or warehouse environment.
• Previous experience in customer service
• Forklift licence would be an advantage

Minimum 25 hours a week, to begin with, full-time hours available to the right candidate
