Automotive Warehouse & Sales Assistant APPLY NOW

HAMR Coatings are seeking a casual Warehouse and Sales Assistant, to join our team in Hoppers crossing. You will be part of a growing Australian-owned Automotive paint company.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. Promote our products and maintain our high level of customer service standards
2. Pick, pack and fulfill all outgoing orders.
3. Liaise with team members to ensure accuracy of orders, packing slips, invoices, and courier labels.
4. Receives/processes stock received from suppliers, involving; unpacking, counting, pricing, and placing on the floor, with overflow stock to go in the warehouse
5. Ensures stock replenishment in all retail areas
6. Manage and maintain the accuracy of stock inventory and stock counts
7. Promote our products and maintain our high level of customer service standards
8. Listen attentively to customer questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful to encourage product sales.

Qualifications & experience

1. Experience in the Automotive Industry with a sound understanding of cars preferably in Automotive paint and/or parts.
2. Must have previous experience in Customer Service and maintain a high standard.
3. Able to maintain and build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
4. Methodical and well organized with a focus and dedication to achieve positive results to contribute to long term business success
5. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
6. Good computer literacy with an ability to learn promptly the sales process and internal software used.
7. A great team player with a positive “can-do” attitude.
8. Must be able to follow procedures and directions correctly
9. Must be physically fit and able to lift and move stock in a safe manner
10. Ability to work unsupervised and also in a team environment

Preferred but not essential

1. Knowledge in the automotive spray painting industry will be highly regarded.
2. Previously worked in a wholesale or warehouse environment.
3. Previous experience in customer service
4. Forklift licence would be an advantage
